About Us
The Purpose of The Woods Canine Resort and Spa is to be "that serene place" so that others have the opportunity to go away, whether its for work or play, with no worries, stress and knowing their babies are in the best care. We provide a service like no other-- a warm relaxing Resort/Spa where the pooch is pampered and the owner is at ease.
The vision for The Woods Canine Resort and Spa was created because we know that many dog owners have a very difficult time leaving their fur babies with others while they are away. That is why we at The Woods Canine Resort and Spa hold a very high standard, which will earn the trust and respect of our clients and their fur babies while they stay with us. It is important to us that our clients feel their dog(s) are being well cared for and shown the love and affection that they show their own pets. We will always welcome special needs dogs and provide the extra care that they need.

Hi! I'm Mickey!
I have been grooming dogs for about seven years and I absolutely love it! I'm born and raised right here in Columbia, SC but have lived in Colorado and Asheville. Now that I'm back home in SC, I'm so thankful to be a part of The Woods Family! Since I can remember, dogs have always been a part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I believe in making dogs feel comfortable and loved especially during the grooming process. I will always choose comfort over anything else when taking care of your fur baby! My favorite part of grooming is helping dogs feel and look like the best versions of themselves! Can't wait to meet you and your pup!

*NOTICE: There is a service called a "Staff Basic Bath" for boarding dogs only in which the boarding staff can give your dog a bath any day of the week Sunday- Saturday for $30.00 - $45.00 depending on the size of your dog. It only includes a shampoo and towel dry (No blow dry, nails, ears, etc). *
